Abstract

Institutional Commercial use varies in the city of Mosul in terms of capacity, materials, and the number of customers who deal with them or those who are specialized in selling collectively or individually. What is interesting in the geography of cities is the spatial distribution of commercial use and its patterns. The commercial tapes are one of the components of the Commercial installation in modern cities. Its forms and types have varied and varied within the cities, and no city, no matter how small in size, is located, but the commercial position occupies a spatial space, as we notice some stores and stores spread in the major villages, and there are villages or central places where weekly markets are held (on a day of any M week) and choose places devoid of any activity during the days of the week, except in one day than it is on the market,The commercial streets are considered one of the main elements for modern cities. They varied in the commercial shape in Mosul . it increased between the two wars because of the increasing of export activities . The old commercial shops use electric activities. it has 88 shops out of 117 in the commercial street
