Abstract
Cooper and Rizzuto reported the thermoelectric power ofThCe and interpreted the behavior as the sole consequence of an impurity diffusion contribution. We note thatPdRh andPtIr have similar qualitative behavior. The behavior of thePdRh system is quantitatively analyzed and produces results quite similar to those forThCe. The larger context of several systems suggests that phonondrag terms are important inThCe.
