Abstract
The thermal stability of D = 10 supersymmetry and gauge invariance of the type-I Neveu-Schwarz-Ramond open superstring is investigated with the aid of the Neveu-Scherk regularization scenario for the planar massless vector boson self-energy within the framework of the thermofield dynamics.
