Abstract
It is pointed out that the fixed-scatterer approximation (FSA) does not underestimate the e/sup -/-H scattering cross section near the forward direction. The FSA result rather suffers from a logarithmic divergence in the forward direction which comes, as is well known, from the double-scattering term.
