Abstract
Comments are made on the theoretical treatment of solvent effects on molecular electronic oscillator strengths by A. B. Myers and R. R. Birge [J. Chem. Phys. 73, 5314 (1980)]. There are doubts about their theoretical and experimental expressions for the oscillator strength. (AIP)
