Abstract
The main purpose of these comments is to correct (a) the definitions of admissible initial conditions, (b) the exact solution of a polynomial matrix description (PMD), and (c) the proof of the controllability and reachability criteria, presented in the above-mentioned work. The results concerning the reachability and controllability subspaces and thus the reachability and controllability criteria remain the same.
