Abstract
The author argues that the original paper Operation of Ground Sensor Relays Under Conditions of Partial CT Saturation by B. Bridger et al. (see ibid., vol. 33, p. 1111-16, 1997) would have had added value if the conclusions summarized at the end of it had included a statement that the fact that core balance-type ground sensors normally operate with the current transformers' (CT's) being saturated should be factored into the ground fault protection relay coordination curves. The original authors' reply to these comments are also presented.
