Abstract

In recent years, the frequency diverse array (FDA) radar has gained the great interest of researchers due to its flexible scanning beam characteristics and range-angle-dependent beam pattern [1] – [5] . In contrast to the phased-array radars, the abovementioned features of FDA radars can offer potential solutions to many applications including range-interference suppression, directional communications, range ambiguity suppression, and so on [6] – [9] .
