Abstract

EDITOR'S NOTE. In the January 1976 issue of the JOURNAL OF MARKETING we published Bank Selection Decision and Market Segmentation by W. Thomas Anderson, Jr., Eli P. Cox Ill, and David G. Fulcher (Vol. 40 No. 1, pp. 40-45). The article reported the results of a study which utilized determinant attribute analysis to segment the market for a bank on the basis of respondents' perceived importance of bank selection criteria. We have received a number of critical comments on the article, and we herewith present portions of three of these.
