Comments on ?a numerical approach to the infinite horizon problem of deterministic control theory?

Abstract

In the paper cited above a proof about an estimate of the rate of convergence for a special discretization scheme for the Hamilton--Jacobi equation is given. The proof is essentially based on the identification between functions $$\tilde v_h$$ andvhk. Here we give a simple example which shows that this identification is incorrect.
