Abstract
In this article, we give some comments on the article ‘A new time-varying feedback RISE control for second-order nonlinear MIMO systems: theory and experiments’. The article presents a new time-varying RISE control for second-order nonlinear MIMO systems and validates its ineffectiveness by experiments. We point out several flaws that occurred throughout the article, leading to the ineffectiveness of the proposed approach. A corrected control law is proposed and semiglobal asymptotic stability is proved.
