Abstract

Jan Trachta et al. [1] report on sexual function in patients with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) after feminizing genitoplasty (FG). The literature on this topic is sparse. The authors should be commended on their efforts to broaden our knowledge on this important topic. They compared the sexual function of 21 sexually-active CAH patients to 50 control participants. Although the study showed that partnership, offspring, sexual frequency and function were impaired in adult females with CAH after FG compared to healthy control group, the median GRISS score was below the pathological level.
