Abstract

I would like to congratulate Grau and colleagues1 for an excellent article and video focusing on the technique of reimplantation for anomalous right coronary artery. This surgical technique has enjoyed a rise in popularity in recent years and has now been reported by multiple groups.2-4 The authors demonstrate that reimplantation is a relatively straightforward procedure utilizing methods quite similar to a proximal coronary artery bypass anastomosis. I agree that this is a straightforward surgical technique.
