Clovis Center is actively applying for accreditation as an independent community college. Ms. Elliott writes short stories and poetry and has been published in the journals: American Short Fiction, West Branch, The Cimarron Review, and Spout. She is presently at work on a novel based on an episode of the Japanese medieval manuscript, The Tales of Ise. She has consistently taught Shakespeare's tragedies to Freshman Composition classes, but is increasingly worried by the number of websites offering research papers on Shakespeare.
