Abstract

In addition to the study reported on pages 141-146, submitted to the Archives the following essay covering a discussion of the incidence of aldosterone-producing tumors in patients presenting with the clinical picture of normokalemic hypertension. We sent the essay on to Dr. Conn and invited his comments. He, in turn, sent along a study of his own, summarizing his latest experience (pages 113-123), and also his response to Dr. Kaplan's critique which follows this article.—Ed.
