Abstract
This commentary addresses the issue of proceedings regarding the application for the establishment of a cooperative bank. The key issues in this case were the content of the application for permission, the competence of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority to request supplementation of the application and the consequences of the party’s failure to complete the application. After a thorough analysis of the facts revealed in the justification of the ruled judgment and the legal status applicable in the case, it comes to the conclusion that in the present case the correct court ruling was issued twice. The conduct of the authority, in this case the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, was also correct.
