It provides a suggestion for safer removal with office hysteroscopy for cases where the gestational sac is located caudal or lateral to the IUD. It discusses the possible advantages of office hysteroscopy and states that it should be kept in mind as a safe alternative and as means to remove a lost IUD in pregnant patients.
