Abstract

In the Clopidogrel in High-Risk Patients with Acute Nondisabling Cerebrovascular Events (CHANCE) study of TIA, short-term combination therapy with clopidogrel and aspirin reduced recurrent stroke.1 Whether all TIAs benefit equally from this treatment remains unclear. Given that dual antiplatelet therapy also promotes hemorrhage, identifying which TIAs derive the greatest benefit would be clinically useful.
