Her books include The Australian Liberals and the Moral Middle Class: From Alfred Deakin to John Howard (Cambridge University Press, 2003), Political Lives (Allen & Unwin, 1997), Developments in Australian Politics (Macmillan, 1994) and Robert Menzies' Forgotten People (Macmillan, 1992).
