Abstract
We offer clarifications and corrections to the Atwood-West method of extracting neutron cross sections from deuterium data. Another expression for the flux factor is derived. Also, an inconsistency in the electroproduction expressions in the ${q}^{2}=0$ limit is discussed, and possible solutions are mentioned.
