The study described a meta-analysis on iron deficiency for prognosis in acute coronary syndrome (ACS), which found that there was a high prevalence of iron deficiency (ID) in the ACS population that affected their long-term outcomes. We found that there were some limitations in the meta-analysis that the authors did not mention in their article.
