Comment on: “Target dose conformity in 3-dimensional conformal radiotherapy and intensity modulated radiotherapy” [Radiother Oncol 2004; 71:201–206, Wu et al.

Abstract

We read the interesting article titled ‘Target dose conformity in 3-dimensional Conformal radiotherapy and Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy’ by Wu et al. The authors compared the differences in conformity indexes (CI) for the treatment planning of four cancer sites including 70 patients with cancers of nasopharynx, esophagus, lung and prostate [4].
