Abstract

A way to explain the inconsistency of the spin one theory with anomalous magnetic moment couplings observed by Tsai and Yildiz is proposed. By suiably adding infinitely many non-minimal coupling terms which are tensor functions of the field strength F μν , the square of the energy eigenvalues can become positive definite. A particular model of replacing κ by κ (H 2) = κ′ (1+ 1 4 κ′ 2e 2H 2m −4) −1 , where no restriction is imposed on κ′, is discussed.
