Abstract

Manske et al. [Phys. Rev. B 56, R2940 (1997)] presented a calculation of electronic Raman scattering in clean d-wave superconductors in which the ${B}_{1g}$ electronic Raman response is affected by electronic screening. They claimed that this screening suffices to explain drastic differences between experiments and previous calculations. We show that these differences remain after errors in Ref. 1 are corrected.
