Abstract
The paper addresses the development of Lattice Boltzmann (LB) methods for turbulent flows in response to a recent paper of Tan et al. [1]. Exact results, which ensure the consistency of LB equations with turbulence transport equations, are presented for parameters in LB equations. The advantages of using the exact LB model parameter setting are pointed out.
