Abstract

Multi\|source remote sensing images fusion is an important method to acquire a higher spatial and spectral image resolution of the same object and can also provide a better tool for its application. Some different fusion methods are reviewed in this paper, they are classified into pixel\|level, feature\|level and decision\|level three categories, all of which are explored in detail respectively and compared each other. Finally, future trends are put forward for discussion.
