Abstract
The distinction between the information necessary to evaluate calibration of a $^{81}\mathrm{Br}$ solar neutrino detector and that necessary to determine the absolute $^{81}\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}^{81}$Br mass difference is pointed out.
