Abstract

NATALIA ZAHAROVA, ANASTASIA POSAD S KAJ A, NATALIA RIMASEVSKAJA This article was published in Kommunist, the theoretical journal of the Soviet CP, and is presented here as a document. The authors insist that although the "question of women" was considered as solved, it is more than ever present on the Soviet political agenda. After a critical analysis of dominant discourses (patriarchal, economical, demographical) which state the solution as lying in the withdrawal of women from the labour market, they propose an "egalitarian" approach. In this perspective, problems of both genders must find their solutions together, through the rejection of a distribution designating the household as the priority for women, and the production place for men.
