Abstract
Analytical approaches to time-delay system problems of mismatch and cost functional evaluation, for single-delay and commensurate delay, are extended and applied to systems with non-commensurate delays, i.e. independent-delays.The paper is an extension of methods given in Marshall and Walton (1986) and Hocken, Marshall and Salehi (1983) presented at the 4th and 3rd IFAC CDPS Symposia respectively.Comments are given on the use of Pade approximant and other Taylor series methods in systems with two independent delays particularly for the analysis of temporal mismatch.
