F. ; Millis, R. L. Abstract Optical photometry of comet IRAS-Araki-Alcock 1983d is presented. The data provide values for the product of albedo and average optical depth in the coma. These turn out to be at least a factor of 20 lower than expected from the IRAS measurements reported by Walker et al. (1984).
