How can I get my students to read their assignments carefully? How can I develop the writing abilities of my students? How can I get students interested in the course and excited about learning? Answers to these questions are obviously not easy, but in the teaching of a constitutional law course focusing upon civil liberties I have found that structuring the course around role playing activities seems to create a learning environment in which all of these concerns
