Optimizing pharmacokinetic properties remains challenging but is generally guided by a set of structural rules. However, no such rule set exists for intracellular distribution. Kilgore etal.1 have examined small molecule partitioning within biomolecular condensates, yielding findings that could open a new window in the drug design and discovery process.
