Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of the combining standardized patients and clinical case to train the clinical thinking of internship students in obstetrics and gynecology.Methods Using 41 undergraduate students of grade 2006,eight-year medicine education,major in clinical medicine in Peking University People's Hospital as the object of research,the students were taught by standardized patients combined with actual patients.Results After the end of clinical practice,the students carried out a comprehensive capacity assessment and clinical thinking exam and compared with the student of grade 2005.The result showed that the capacity test results of two groups were not significant differences,the students'achievement of grade 2006 (8.79 ± 0.64) was higher than the students' achievement of grade 2005 (8.43±0.98) in clinical examination of thinking (P<0.05),the difference was statistically significance.Conclusions The methods of combining standardized patients with clinical case had a positive effect to develop students' clinical thinking.
