Abstract
The two-staged anteroposterior approach is the indicated surgical procedure for many patients with adult spine deformities as described in this article. These surgeries are not easily performed. The surgeon must have excellent knowledge of anatomy as well as expertise in performing these procedures in order to obtain maximum correction, stabilization of the spine, and minimize complications.
