Abstract
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of combined treatment of traditional chinese with west-ern medicine on nephrotic syndrome purpuric nephritis. Methods Sixty - five cases with nephrotic syndrome purpuric ne-phritis were divided randomly into treatment group and control group. Thirty - five cases in treatment group were treated by combined treatment of traditional chinese with western medicine, 30 cases in control group were treated only by western medicine. Results The effective rate in treatment group was 94.3%, which was significantly higher than that in control group(73.3% ) (P < 0.05). The side effect in treatment group was 22.9%, which was significantly lower than that in control group(66.7%) (P < 0.01). There was significant difference in urinary protein of 24 h pro, serum albumine,cho-lesterol before and after treatment, which was superior to those in control group (P < 0.01). Conclusions The effect of combined treatment of traditional chinese with western medicine is obviously superior to that of western medicine alone in improving prognosis of nephrotic syndrome purpuric nephritis and decreasing the incidence of adverse effect.
