Abstract
The combined thermal phenomena are a series of multi-factor coupling phenomena caused by the structural thermal response under the cumulative action of aerodynamic heating. The combined thermal phenomena, which will lead to a more significant time-space coupling effect on the multiple physics of hypersonic vehicle, is an important issue in the development of long-haul hypersonic vehicle in the future. This paper describes the connotation of the combined thermal phenomena by combining with the physical link of the aircraft system coupling phenomenon. The physical essence and prediction methods of the combined thermal problem are expounded in detail. The key issues affecting the combined thermal problem such as aerodynamics, aerodynamics/structure/trajectory coupling are discussed. The new progress in the research of coupling experimental verification is introduced. The extension of the combined thermal problem such as the multi-scale effect of the new composite thermal protection materials, the multi-system optimization design based on the multi-factor coupling method, and the influence of the cabin thermal effect on the heat protection system are discussed.
