Abstract
Adaptive Radiation therapy (ART) can be classified as offline and online ART. Offline ART is typically used to correct for systematic variations, while online ART is capable of accounting for both systematic and random variations but requires extensive online effort while the patient is lying on the treatment Table. The purpose of this work is to introduce a combined “online and offline” ART strategy, that is dosimetrically equivalent to existing online ART but with substantially reduced online effort.
