Abstract

We are going to display two types of cases. CASE.1 the carcinoma of lower alveolus (cT1, N0, M0) histologically proved squamous cell carcinoma approached with surgical hemimandibulectomy, ipsilateral supra-omohyoid neck dissection followed by post-op radiotherapy. CASE.2 the carcinoma of left side palate and alveolus (cT3, N1, M0) crossing the midline approached with combined pre- op chemotherapy, radiotherapy followed by sub-total maxillectomy, functional neck dissection, post-op radiotherapy. Conclusion: Long-term prognosis for early stage disease can be achieved by extended surgical procedure and for late stage disease though it is maxilla combined modality of radio therapy, chemotherapy with functional neck dissection is the better approach.
