Abstract
Cold free traditional extrusion of cups with a conical bottom made of a hardening material is considered. The methods for performing specific calculations of the deforming force for various geometric parameters of free extrusion are demonstrated in detail. Comparison with experimental data obtained by extrusion of aluminum alloy AD1 and brass L63 shows the high accuracy of the derived calculation formulas.
