Abstract

The necessity of experimental verification of the accuracy of the theoretical calculation of the force of traditional extrusion of glasses with a conical bottom is substantiated. The extrusion of a non-hardening material simulating hot deformation is considered. The methods for performing specific calculations of the deforming force for various extrusion geometric parameters, both for free and constrained extrusion, are demonstrated in detail. Comparison with the obtained experimental data shows the high accuracy of the derived calculation formulas.
