Abstract

Cold extrusion with initial deformation by direct extrusion, as well as with initial shear deformation of the central region of glasses with a conical bottom part made of a hardening material, is considered. The methods for performing specific calculations of the deforming force for various geometric parameters of free and constrained extrusion are demonstrated in detail. Comparison with the experimental data obtained during the extrusion of aluminum alloy AD1 shows the high accuracy of the derived calculation formulas.
