Abstract

The combined effects of temperature and electron collision frequency with immobile ion on the propagation of large amplitude electron plasma wave in an unmagnetized non-relativistic plasma is studied. Two different temperature profiles are considered for one dimensional wave propagation. The variations of wave amplitude and its period are investigated under the simultaneous effects of temperature and collision parameters. The increase or decrease in the wave amplitude and its period depends not only on temperature and collision parameters, but it also depends on the initial conditions.
