Abstract

Two cases presenting the very rare combination of atrial and ventricular parasystole have been described. The rates of the atrial and ventricular parasystole were slower than 40/ min. This is not an unusual finding since the parasystolic rate may be slower or faster than the inherent automaticity of impulse formation. However, the question of exit block was also raised in view of the unusually slow rate of the atrial parasystole (17/min.) in the first case.
