Abstract

Abstract The author gives combustion data pertaining to the burning of petroleum fuels in combination oil-and-gas burners for industrial use, and discusses the principles of combustion involved in burning such fuels. He also gives a brief description of nine representative types of combination oil-and-gas burners, describes their operation, and discusses their advantages and disadvantages.
