Abstract

To prevent and correct the accumulation of excess fat mass, especially visceral adipose tissue, a combination of somatosensory stimulation in the form of reflex massage with the use of a diet with a low glycemic index was used. Changes in anthropometric parameters, lipid profile, and increase in atherogenic coefficient depending on body mass index were revealed. The organization and implementation of a preventive and health improvement program based on a combination of somatosensory stimulation and a diet with a low glycemic index allows the correction of the lipid profile, reducing the severity of visceral fat accumulation.
