Abstract
The orange color developed by zirconyl salts with nitroso R-salt was utilised for the development of a new colorimetric method for the estimation of the element. 0 065 gmg/cm2 of the metal may be detected. The method is also applicable in the presence of moderate quantities of thorium, rare earths and uranium.
