Abstract
Methods are described for the colorimetric determination of micro- and semi-micro quantities of selenium, tellurium, cerium and manganese. The test solution in 0.35–3 M condensed phosphoric acid medium is oxidized with an excess of permanganate. The colour intensity of the unreacted permanganate is measured at 530 nm.
