Abstract
Parallel advance study in colorimetric and fluorescent chemosensing have sparked in the development of chemosensors. Among the chemosensors the naked eye ones i.e. the colorimetric chemosensors are most important because they don’t involve either any costly instrument or any pretreatment of the sample. Present review article covers colorimetric chemosensors for d-metal ions have been widely applied in many promising fields such as, pharmacology, biology and environmental sciences. These chemosensors are enable to sense d-metal ions especially hazardous d-metal ions that is significantly impacting the application in the field of healthcare, agriculture and environment. This review covers in depth study of research publication.
