Abstract

Abstract The trial was established at the Northwest Experiment Station. This is dry land potato production on clay-like soils. Plot size was 4—10 inch rows 25 ft in length. Treatments were arranged in a RCB design and replicated 4 times. They were applied on 9, 22 Jul and 18 Aug. The soil application of Admire was made at potato emergence (17 Jun) in a 4 inch band over the row and hilled in. Soil treatment and foliars were applied in approximately 20 gpa of total material. Applications were made using a hand held CO2 sprayer with a nozzle pressure of 40 psi pressure. The entire plot area was treated twice with Rid-O-Mil for potato late blight control. The two center rows of each plot were harvested, weighed and recorded. Yields are reported in hundred weight (cwt) per acre.
