Abstract

Ultrasound (US) is a well-established modality for evaluating the female pelvis. Advances in US technology such as the advent of endovaginal US (EVS) and, recently, EVS coupled with color flow and power color Doppler have increased the diagnostic accuracy of US in determining the nature and etiology of uterine, adnexal, and ovarian masses. Close proximity of the pelvic organs to the transducer and the use of higher frequency transducers (5-7.5 MHz) allow better image resolution.KeywordsEndometrial CancerResistive IndexUterine ArteryPulsatility IndexColor Doppler UltrasoundThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
